Cottage Checklist

Things to Bring up to the Cottage, things we provide:

Before you come to the cottage you will want to make sure you are aware of what is provided and what is not.

NOT PROVIDED:

Food - Please bring your own food, condiments, garbage bags.There are many wonderful supermarkets in Huntsville, if your require more groceries. .

Water - We use lake water at the cottage for showering, toilets, and dishwashing however for drinking we recommend you bring bottled water, a water cooler is available.

Towels and Linen - Please bring your own personal soap, shampoo, linens and towels when you visit. Our towels are not for use.

Life Jackets - You must provide your own life jackets for all members of your family, in order to use the water crafts.

PROVIDED:

Meal Preparation: We provide, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, glasses and all that you would require to make a meal. We are also equipped with coffee makers, microwaves, dishwashers.

Outdoor Activities: Canoe, paddleboat, fishing gear, BBQ (you refill propane) and the use of the firepot.
Bedding- Pillows, duvets extra blankets.

Garbage Disposal: We have a large animal proof green bin near the parking area at the top of the hill for your garbage (4 bags max).Please be sure to close the lid and clip securely as not to attract bears or raccoons. You provide the garbage bags. We encourage you to recycle.

Boat Docking: If you have your own sailboat or motorboat we have facilities up to 24 ft. boat for docking, launch at municipal docks.

1. Secure all doors at the cottage before you leave.
2. Return all items once you have used them, to their
   original spot.
3. When using the fire pit be sure to put out the completely
   before you go to sleep or leave the cottage.
4. Please be good neighbours, many of the cottagers are permanent summer residence and we want positive feedback from them.
5. Report any damage or situation immediately to Polocorp Inc. so we may assist you or remedy the problem, a cell number will be provided to you prior to your arrival.
6. We will be asking you to sign a waiver of liability, we cannot be responsible for damages to your property or personal injuries.
7. Pets are allowed, however they must stay on the property and not bother the neighbours, you are responsible for cleaning after your pet, and to be a responsible pet owner.
8. We ask for your own safety, that you do not dive from the Boathouse, the water is not deep enough.
9. Finally, we hope you will enjoy the cottage and the spectacular views and sunsets you will experience, this corner of the world is paradise, and we are certain you will agree once you have spent some time on Peninsula Lake, and at RED DOOR COTTAGES.
